Remember those old card catalogs in a library? Sometimes when you would look up a topic it would say SEE ALSO [ ] and list an alternate subject you might find more information under? That was a cross reference. x-ref for short. Hmm, a lot like what the internet is now. href anyone?

This site is the locus of all the different types of information and interests that intersect in my brain. Why not cross reference them all in one place.
